Study skills, organizational skills, and various learning strategies will be taught and implemented throughout the academic year. The class period will also be utilized to reinforce reading, math and written language skills as determined by individual IEP goals.
Class Rules
** Be respectful to other students, staff and teachers
** Students need to be seated when the bell rings
- ** Group discussions and activities require students to raise their
- hand before speaking
**Students should bring all of their materials to class
Grading
Students will receive a letter grade. This letter grade will be determined by a rubric scale and daily points. The grades will follow the grading scale below.

Effort and work ethic will be included in the grading. The students may earn a total of 20 points daily. These points will be earned for on-task behavior, coming to class with the proper materials, class participation and completion of tasks.
